| Description |
This Robbins Open Gripper Main Beam TBM was "rebuilt" in 2008 by Robbins to drive a 4,800 mtr mine drainage tunnel in Paua New Guinea and was supplied with a rebuilt back-up system from Robbins as part of the supply contract.
Technical data:
- 5.57 m / 18' 3" diamter
- 2,205 KW (2,956 HP) cutter head power from 7x 315 kW motors
- 1.8 mtr stroke with 12,325.54 kN (2,770,891 lb.) nominal thrust
- 250 m turning radius.
