Description
Forepoling or Tube Umbrella is for fortifacation of the tunnel during the excavation in broken rock or soil conditions. A set of casings with injection valves are installed according to the tunnel profile. Grouting is injected inside the casings, and injection pressure allows the grouting enter the soil through the valves, forming an arch of "artificial rock" supporting the tunnel during the excavation.
