Description
Hitachi-Zosen Earth Pressure Balance TBM; used by Shank/Balfour Beatty to excavate 10,800 feet of soft ground tunnel.

TBM is in near-new condition. TBM is complete with trailing gear, and many spare parts, including a main bearing. Shield diameter is 19.23 feet (5,860 mm), and is equipped to erect a 48 inch wide, six piece, universal ring.

TBM will be disassembled in August, 2008, and stored adjacent to port facilities in Boston, MA, USA, for ocean freight shipping, worldwide.
