Tunnels Shift Engineer
Job Reference Number: PN3293
Location: UK, various, London, Hindhead
Duration: Permanent
Operating on a shift basis including regular night and weekend working . Working within a small
team reporting to the Section Engineer and Shift Team Leader . Responsible for monitoring and
recording of excavation and lining works including early strength gain, profile control, environmental monitoring, quality records and ensuring compliance with method statements and health & safety regulations.
A minimum of HNC/HND (or equivalent) in, civil engineering, mining, geotechnical engineering,
mining surveying or a related subject . Holder of a relevant CSCS Card. Previous experience of
managing small teams of engineers and of working underground in the civil engineering or mining
industries is required . . Previous experience in tunnelling and wet sprayed concrete lining systems for tunnel construction will be looked upon favorably.
