The TBM ATLAS COPCO JARVA MK12 was fully refurbished under the leadership of Robbins. After refurbishment, the TBM was used for one drive of about 1800m in length.
• Rated power : 1000 kW /1200 kW
• Revolution : 12.2 rpm
• Torque : 705 kNm
• Thrust force max. : 6.2 MN (635 to)
• Stroke : 1.5 m
• Electrical engine : 4 x 250 kW
• Built : 1989
The new cutter head, built by Robbins in 2005 has a diameter of 4.5m. It contains the following parts: 3pcs. buckets
• 4pcs. center cutters, size 12“
• 27pcs. face and gauge cutters, size 16 ¼“
The new backup system was developed and manufactured by ROWA Tunneling Logistics based on the excavating diameter 4.5m; it is designed for tunnels and excavations of about 2000m in length.
• Min curve radius : > 300 m
• Working area L1: rock bolts, beams, mash
• Working area L2: rock bolts, shot crete
