Are you a Civil Engineer interested in a challenging position and Building a World of Difference™?
If so, Black & Veatch has an opportunity located in San Francisco, CA that may be just what you’re looking for.
Responsibilities:
• Provides engineering related design, analysis, and studies for domestic or international projects
• Prepares design materials for basic design assignments
• Prepares basic analysis, design calculations, equipment research, sketches, etc., required to prepare documents, specifications drawings or to meet other project requirements
• Reviews manufacturer's drawings with respect to B&V design criteria; marks for conformance
• Coordinates, as assigned, design with other personnel working on same project to minimize design conflicts
• Performs special studies or analyses of specific portions of a project; study includes research, investigation or coordination
• Performs site visits of on-going construction work and attends progress meetings
The preferred candidate will possess:
• BS - Civil Engineering, MS preferred.
• Minimum 3 years Tunnel engineering
• EIT certification, PE preferred
• MS Office, ACAD 2000 skills required
