Senior Engineer - Tunnel Design
Surrey
Our client is one of the world's leading providers of professional, technologically-based consultancy and support services. Due to continues workload & expansion of the company they have new opportunities with in the UK tunnelling division.
This position involves leading design teams working on a wide range of rail, road, power and utilities projects. Your role will be varied from feasibility studies to assessment and design of remediation schemes for existing tunnels. They operate internationally in tunnel design consultancy with centres in the UK and Hong Kong. The above position is for project work in the thriving Surrey office, where existing commissions and the prospect of future prestigious projects require significant expansion.
Requirements & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering or Mining Degree and have over 5 years experience of working in an engineering consultancy on tunnelling projects. You will be a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer, or be approaching Chartered Engineer status. In addition, you will be computer literate with good written & oral communication skills.
