Sub-Contract Administrator – Civil Works
Dubai - United Arab Emirates
The Dubai Metro will be one of the most advanced
urban rail systems in the world and will be the catalyst
for tourism, financial and economic growth.
Investment costs for the full system have been
assessed at a grand total of about AE$14.3 billion,
including civil works, stations, system
fixed equipment, trains, engineering and financing.
This is an excellent opportunity for an English speaking Q.S.(RICS) or Engineer in the related discipline. Civil Works (viaducts, underground structures & buildings etc.)
The successful applicant will report to the Contract
Manager and will be involved in all aspects of an
administrative and contractual nature in relation to
subcontract administration on a major international
civil engineering project.
You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and negotiation of subcontract agreements and thereafter, the administration and management of all contractual matters in respect of the subcontract(s) including correspondence, meetings, assessment and evaluation of subcontract claims, etc.
Skills: Excellent English skills (Verbal & written), good computer skills & excellent management skills for a multi-cultural team composition.
Experience: Civil Engineering/Contract Administration. Experience in the construction of Metro/LRT projects in an urban area is a basic requirement. Overseas experience not essential but previous experience in the Middle East would be advantageous.
Salary: Competitive Salary Package (Tax-Free) including accommodation & transportation. It would be ideal if you are available for quick mobilisation to Dubai.
