| Description |
Very light, easy to transport console of high manufacturing quality for all modern surveying instruments. Since a number of instrument positions are seldom used simultaneously, even on larger construction sites, this system is extremely economical because you only have to install a single wall bolt for every possible position.
The arm of the console is made from very rigid 40 x 60 mm aluminium box section with screw on equipment mounting plate (Ø 140 mm). The instrument is attached to the console with a 5/8" tightening bolt.
On this system, the console is fixed to the wall by means of a solid, low cost brass bolt with protective cap, which is cemented or bonded into the wall. The centring system, which has a position permanence of a few hundredths of a millimetre, is protected by a brass cover when not in use. When measurement is to take place, the cover is screwed off and replaced by a stainless steel adaptor bolt onto which the console is mounted. After the console has been levelled approximately using the circular spirit level integrated into the arm, the clamping screw is firmly tightened. In this way set up is complete in a few seconds.
Since the instrument levelling plate offers only limited possibilities for levelling, the wall bolt must be installed very precisely. For installation we recommend our two-component special mortar and installation device no. 14-TK1-EV with two bubble levels built in at right angles.
Should you wish to use a particularly heavy instrument (heavier than 7 kg), the console can be propped up by an additional support to achieve greater rigidity. A standard bolt from the 11R range (with M8 internal thread) is built into the lower part of the console for this purpose. All necessary components are included in the optionally available support kit.
For convenient transportation of the console, mounting bolt and optionally available support kit we recommend our carry case with foam padding insert cut to suit. In this special case you can store two complete console fittings, 2 support kits, adaptor bolts and the installation device.
