Separation Plant for Microtunneling projects up to 500 m³/h (desander, separation, slurry treatment plant, mud conditioning)
The ITE TSP500 is a compact and powerful separation unit that is designed to treat slurry flow volumes up to 500 m³/h. The ITE TSP500 is equipped with the following components: - 3x 4-Panel Screening machines for separation of cobbles and coarse sands from the slurry and for dewatering the hydrovacuumcyclone underflow. - 4x 15" hydrovacuumcyclones for the treatment of sandy to silty slurry properties. - 2x wear resistant centrifugal pump unit to feed the hydrovacuumcyclones - 2x 20 ft. standard container with 2 compartments and integrated control panel for the professional handling of slurries. Due to its compact design the ITE TSP500 is ideal to be used in microtunneling applications. The unit guarantees minimal cut point at minimal space consumption. In comparison with other separation plants manufactures (Bauer, Schauenburg) the TSP separation plants reach lower cut points. By means of variable screen selections with wire woven stainless steel screen panels or polyurethane screens the unit can be adjusted for any kind of even challenging ground conditions or TBM advance rates. Due to the fixed piping, suction from all chambers can be reallized in order to clean out sediments from time to time. Fold-down rails guarantee a safe working environment and good access to any component.

Compact centrifuge with control cabinet and feed pump ITE ZR15046 for tunneling applications (Fines separation, separation of silt and clay)
The ZR15046 Decanter with variable speed drive is specially designed to keep pace with the demanding needs of slurry treatment in the tunneling and the specialist foundation engineering business. A new technology has been combined with the established durability and reliability in a product that is fully adjustable and still easy to operate. The variable speed drive packages allow controlled impact of motor drive power to the centrifuge bowl and to the screw. The ability to vary the speed of the bowl and the screw power unit allows the centrifuge to be operated in the most efficient and productive manner subject to the encountered slurry properties. Critical temperature sensors and vibration switches support the monitoring system and give warning of abnormal operation. The suspension is fed trough a feed pipe located in the center of the rotor into the rotating bowl. The centrifugal force inside of the bowl forms a cylindrical fluid ring in which the solids settle. The deposited solids are conveyed toward the conical end of the bowl by a screw, which rotates at a slightly different speed than the bowl (rotational speed difference), finally extracted from the fluid level inside of the bowl and ejected from the centrifuge as mechanically dewatered solids with low residual moisture. The centrifuge effluent however flows to the other end of the bowl where it exits over an effluent weir.
